Oh my word, this made me laugh so much -- it really DOES look like a television! Sheep soap operas anyone? Or did you just catch them filming the new opening titles for Emmerdale?

Plus, as a shot, it really works for me -- the natural frame of the castle window and the dull grey of the stone interior combined with the verdant landscape outside really works well at drawing the eye through the picture. Personally, I look at this journeying from bottom left to top right, and while perhaps there are those who would have qualms about this being shot at an angle/not cropped on the left, I think the picture needs the contrast of the walls to really allow the view from the window to 'pop'. In fact, it probably improves the quality of the view itself, looking at it from this perspective, whereas if you'd just hung out the window or some such, well, yes the colours would still be amazing and such, but the impact in this piece would be lessened to my mind if you took away any of the components of the composition.

The only thing I could really suggest doing to this photo is maybe a slight (and I truly do mean slight) crop to tie the right edge a touch more closely to the lines around the window; the right side seems more unneeded to me than the detail of the stones of the left does.

Overall, a fantastic piece, well thought out and executed, with a brilliant title to match You should be proud!
